How Does the Deposit Process work?

You can easily deposit funds in just four basic steps as follows:

1. Log in to your account on Maxwell’s trading platform.
2. Find the button labeled "Deposit" and click on it.
3. Choose a method for payment and fill in the information requested.
4. Click on the button labeled “Deposit” once again. Your funds will be reflected in your trading account immediately, depending on the deposit option selected.

1. Debit and Credit Cards

We support various major credit and debit cards for depositing money for trading. Credit and debit card transactions are streamlined with the Maxwell trading platform for your convenience and ease of use. Maxwell accepts Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and various other major cards for the deposit process.

2. Local Bank Transfer

It does not matter where you reside in the world, you will still be able to use a local bank transfer for your chosen method for depositing funds into your trading account. This can help you avoid the hassle and slower process of utilizing bank wires and international bank transfers. Using a local bank transfer method could take a few days for the deposit process to be completed.

3. eWallets

We also allow you to use eWallets to make deposits into your trading account on the Maxwell platform.

4. Wire / International Bank Transfer

We allow our users to use bank wire and international bank transfer in order to fund trading accounts. It will take up to 7 business days to complete the process and for the funds to reflect in your account.


You may also be required to provide a statement for your credit or debit card if the copy of the card does not match the name of your account. This will help prove you are legally the owner of the card. The statement will need to show your full name along with the last four digits on the card.

How Do I Make a Withdrawal?

Withdrawing funds with the Maxwell trading platform is an easy and streamlined process. You will be able to withdraw funds in just three basic steps:

1. Access the Maxwell Trading site and log in to your trading account
2. Then you will need to download the withdrawal request form.
3. Complete the withdrawal form in full and send it to
4. Upon the request for withdrawal is processed, you will receive the funds in your bank account accordingly.

After the process is started, the withdrawal can take as long as 3 business days to complete. Once the withdrawal has been approved, the money is transferred via the same transaction method you used to originally deposit the trading capital. Also, you should be aware that after the request is processed, you could be required to wait another 7 business days to see the funds reflected in your bank account.

** Please note that Maxwell Trading does not charge any withdrawal fees however, your banking institution may charge some type of fee.

Our account verification process enables us to ensure your deposited trading funds are safe and secure. This means that Maxwell will require documentation to verify your identification along with other types of documentation. After completing the process for verification, you will be able to start trading immediately.

Proof of Identification (POI)

You will need to present government-issued identifying documentation to complete the process for verification. You can send a photo or a scan of your proof of identity documentation.

We accept the following documents for verifying your identity:
  • Driver’s License
  • National Identity Card
  • Passport

*A clear photograph of you must be included along with the identifying document.

It is vital that you ensure that the copy of your identifying documentation that you send over is legible. This means your full name; expiration date and date of issuance need to be clearly indicated on the copy of your ID.

Proof of Residence (POR)

Maxwell requires documentation that proves the location of your residence. The proof of residence document should not be any older than 3 months. Also, your full name and your full address of residence should be clearly indicated in the proof of residence documentation.

*Please also ensure that the POR copy or scan is legible and clear.

Additionally, be sure that the information on the proof of residence document matches the personal information provided during the registration process.

*Below are the acceptable documents for proof of residence:

  • Bank Statement
  • Utility Bill (i.e. landline telephone, water, electricity or gas)
  • Credit Card Statement
  • Expiration date

Verifying Your Credit Card

A copy of the front and backside of your credit or debit card is required for the identification process at Maxwell. The below information is required to be included on the copy of your card:

  • Your full name
  • First 5 and last 4 numbers of the card (Note: You must mask/hide the middle 7 digits on the card as well as the CVV number)
  • Expiration date
  • Signature on the card (must match the signature on provided ID document)

Proof of Payment - Bank Transfer

Maxwell will only process withdrawal requests to the same bank account originally used to deposit the trading capital. We will require you to provide a screenshot of your bank transaction statement that verifies the deposit transaction completed into your trading account with Maxwell. Also, we do not charge any fees whatsoever for bank transfers. You may, however, be charged by your banking institution. Therefore, you may want to check with your bank regarding any possible charges for transactions.
